A selection of exhibitions connecting historical interpretation, environmental learning and career exploration with clear visual systems. During these projects, I developed graphics that bring content, physical settings and interactive elements together, giving visitors different ways to engage with each subject.
This multi-walled exhibition brought together broad historical themes, archival photography, personal stories and artifacts across a range of display formats. Working within the museum’s established visual style, I developed a consistent hierarchy to help visitors understand how those layers relate.
Large thematic headings orient visitors from a distance, photographs and individual stories reward closer exploration, and careful artifact integration tie each section together. Repeated typographic and image treatments hold the exhibition together without making every section feel identical.
Clinton County’s traveling exhibit needed to function as both a mobile learning environment and a recognizable extension of the organization. Working alongside an industrial designer, I developed a new institutional identity and trailer wrap, then carried that visual language through a large river map, soil activity and water-cycle interactive. The result brings branding and hands-on education together in a mobile exhibit designed for young audiences.
A newspaper-inspired graphic language connects historical imagery, text and artifacts throughout this Civil War exhibition. Within the project’s overall art direction, I developed interpretive layouts across wall graphics and freestanding displays. Federal-era references and clear typographic hierarchy give the exhibition a distinct character while keeping the stories approachable and the artifacts central.
I designed graphics spanning an entrance bridge, supporting walls and interactive video displays for a trades-focused learning environment. The architectural graphics establish the experience of "BizTown", while the displays introduce opportunities for career exploration.
